Tanfield Lea Countryside Group (T.L.C.)

Tanfield Lea Countryside Groups’ aims are to maintain and regenerate the ancient woodland, to protect and enhance its wildlife, habitats and biodiversity and to encourage appropriate community participation, enjoyment and education.
We aim to increase awareness of and foster a better understanding and respect for our local woodland and surrounding countryside through the organisation of events. We actively seek funding to help maintain these habitats and the species that live within them.
